Reverend N. Luke Mason
Reverend N. Luke Mason has engaged in the ministry of the word of God since receiving his license in July of 1980 and his ordination in 1985 under the pastorate of the Late Rev. Lee Mason Jr. In his effort to grow in his
calling he pursued further education at Cedarville University in Ohio, Eastern University in Philadelphia, Cairn University in Langhorne where he earned his Bachelor Degree Magna Cum Laude, and the Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Huntingdon Valley in pursuit of a Master of Divinity. Reverend Mason has served in multiple ministerial capacities over the last 40 years that includes two pastorates, one interim pastorate, 15 years of
preparing other ministers for ordination, along with many other teaching opportunities that have enabled him to impact lives for the glory of God. He is now serving as the Associate Director of Christian Education at the
Northeast Baptist Church.

Rev. Tonya M.
Smith-Waddy
Rev. Tonya M. Smith-Waddy is a gifted minister and dynamic preacher who has faithfully served in ministry since her ordination in 2005. Licensed at Star of Hope Baptist Church and serving with Northeast Baptist
Church since 2015, she continues to spread the Gospel through both preaching and her powerful ministry of song.
A Philadelphia native, Rev. Waddy has ministered across the country and shared platforms with noted gospel artists,always giving God the glory. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Minor in Psychology and Religious Studies from Chestnut Hill College. She has a HS-BCP (Human Service Board Certified Practitioner), she was the Professor of Music for the Voices of Triumph which was the first Gospel Choir at the Chestnut Hill College. She has been accepted to Liberty University where she will seek out a dual degree in Clinical Psychology and Music/Theatre. Rev. Waddy remains committed to serving Christ, her family, and the community with faith, joy, dedication and in song.

Rev. George Nelson Jr.
Rev. George Nelson Jr. was licensed to preach on July 11, 1992, delivering his first sermon, “What About God’s Time,” from Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 at Star of Hope Baptist Church in Philadelphia. He completed a
certificate program at the Eastern School of Christian Ministry at Palmer Theological Seminary in 1994 and was
ordained on February 22, 1999 by his father in ministry, Rev. Hubert B. Barnes.

In 2008, Rev. Nelson answered the call to plant a church, serving as Founder and Senior Pastor for 10 years. After prayerful discernment, he joined Northeast Baptist Church/Frankford on January 28, 2024 under the leadership of Rev. Jonathan A. Mason Sr., and on June 1, 2025, was appointed Associate Pastor of Evangelium.
He married Royce K. Robinson on April 5, 1997, and is the proud father of Jennifer and
grandfather of Jaelynn.
Rev. Nelson’s ministry passion is to fulfill the Lord’s will by living out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16–20). His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, and his inspirational song is “My Soul Has Been Anchored in the Lord.”

Rev. Lynn Brown
Rev. Brown received her Preacher’s License on January 24, 1988 under the leadership of Pastor Robert M. Taylor Sr. of Fellowship Tabernacle Church. She has faithfully embraced every opportunity to share the Gospel,
living out the call to “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” She is the proud mother of four daughters — Vanessa, Tanisha, Pilar, and Lauren — and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. May 2023, she rejoined the church of her youth Northeast Baptist Church and is serving as the Associate Pastor
of Women.
Her life and ministry reflect strength, grace, and the spirit of Maya Angelou’s phenomenal woman.

Rev. Tanya Webb
Reverend Tanya Webb accepted Christ at age 12 and was baptized at Faith Baptist Church under the late Rev. Perry E. Evans. Her Christian foundation was nurtured at Thankful Baptist Church.
She pursued biblical studies at New Life Bible Institute and Manna Bible Institute, recognized her call to ministry in 1995, and was licensed to preach on October 22, 2000, under Pastor Gregory Fleming at St. Joseph Baptist Church, becoming its first woman licensed minister. She was later ordained on June 15, 2008, after graduating from the Jameson School of Ministry and
Theology.
A passionate and spirit-filled preacher, Reverend Webb has ministered throughout Philadelphia and has maintained a longstanding relationship with Second Baptist Church in Moorestown. In 2014, she founded Precious In His Sight Ministry, dedicated to supporting and ministering to women facing life’s challenges.
Reverend Webb brought her talents, gifts, and vibrant spirit to Northeast Baptist Church in
October 2025. She is the proud mother of three adult children and grandmother of three.
